Location: Córdoba, Argentina. Universidad Católica de Córdoba is the oldest private university in Argentina, located in Córdoba, Argentina’s second-largest city and a cultural and historic center, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its Manzana Jesuitica, colonial-era buildings dating back to the 17th century. Feel at home in a city with a large student population, with beautiful mountains, rivers and lakes nearby. Courses are available in a wide variety of disciplines. Pre-requisite: Four semesters of college-level Spanish (Spanish 44)

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina. Live in the sophisticated and dynamic metropolis of Buenos Aires and enhance Spanish language skills by taking classes with local students and living with a Porteño host family. The Universidad del Salvador (USAL) provides a personalized education to each student, offers courses in a variety of disciplines, and welcomes hundreds of international students each year. Location: Havana, Cuba. Be one of a select group of students to experience Cuban culture firsthand, learning how one Caribbean nation has played a unique role in shaping global perceptions of what is possible. Since its beginning, the Sarah Lawrence College in Havana program has aimed to expose American students to one of the most culturally dynamic societies in the Western Hemisphere. As the longest continuously running study abroad program in Havana, the program offers a small and intimate classroom experience, as well as full Spanish language immersion as you explore the intriguing complexities of Cuba in the 21st century. These experiences promise a sense of authenticity influenced by Sarah Lawrence traditions and ideals.

Location: Paris, France. Experience the creative and intellectual traditions that have made Paris a destination for writers, artists, and philosophers since medieval times. The Sarah Lawrence College Program in Paris program enables students to craft a personalized and intellectually stimulating course of study while exploring the rich cultural atmosphere that is unique to the City of Light. Sarah Lawrence in Paris is designed to accommodate students with both intermediate and advanced levels of fluency in the French language. Students will have the opportunity for study in the humanities, social sciences, and the visual and performing arts (Dance, Music, Filmmaking, Theatre, Visual Arts).

Location: Paris, France. Sciences Po is a world-class university, with internationally-recognised degrees and research in the social sciences and humanities, a multicultural community, and a worldwide network of partners. Take courses in English and/or French in Economics, International Relations, Legal Studies, History, Political Science, and Sociology.

Location: Nantes, France. The city of Nantes is two hours from Paris by train and is located close to the Atlantic, at the western end of the Loire River valley. Every year, the Nantes Université welcomes more than 4000 international students every year and prioritizes offering the best reception and integration for incoming students through the "Guichet Unique," a unique and award-winning arrival and individualized support program for international students. Students with limited French can participate in an intensive French Language Program through the Institute of French as a Second Language (i-FLE), while students with advanced French can enroll in regular university courses in Law, Economics and Management; Letters and Humanities; and Sciences, Technology and Engineering.

Location: Berlin, Germany. Spend a semester exploring and studying in Berlin, home to cultural spaces, political institutions, and tech hubs. You can choose between two program options: Arts and Society, which combines practicing arts, arts-themed academics, and an internship or curatorial studies seminar, or LAB: Liberal Arts Berlin, which is designed for students in the social sciences and humanities to explore major questions and currents of Western thought in a rigorous, interdisciplinary fashion.

Location: Lüneburg, Germany. Located approximately 30 minutes by direct train from Hamburg, Leuphana University of Lüneburg offers English-taught courses in media studies, environmental sustainability, economics, and politics. Both academic and social life takes place on a spacious, nearly car-free campus. Prior to the semester, students will participate in a pre-sessional intensive German language course.

Location: Accra, Ghana. Experience West Africa through immersion in Ghanaian cities, which challenge stereotypes of Africa and position the continent as a global economic, political, and cultural force. From Ghana, you’ll gain a new perspective on Africa’s cosmopolitanism, one that complicates and defies Eurocentric representations that emphasize narratives of deprivation and backwardness. The central motif undergirding this program is Sankofa, a Ghanaian concept that encourages a strong engagement with the past in order to ensure informed and sustained progress into the future. You’ll also be introduced to the intricacies of hiplife music, media houses, and institutions across the country that highlight Ghana’s position in a hyper-globalized world.

Location: Athens, Greece. CYA provides unique, academically rigorous courses that utilize the landscape of Greece, and Athens especially, as a classroom, placing students in direct contact with their objects of study.

Location: Hong Kong. Lingnan University is a government-funded liberal arts university in Tuen Mun in the New Territories of Hong Kong, which offers a small, friendly, and welcoming environment on a beautiful, award-winning campus. Choose from classes in English in subjects spanning the social sciences and humanities, as well as options in Computing and Decision Sciences; Science, Technology, Mathematics and Society; and Information Systems. Chinese Language classes are also available.

Location: Cork, Ireland. University College Cork (UCC campus), located on 42 acres of wooded grounds on the banks of the River Lee, offers an extensive catalog of classes, allowing you to make steady progress toward your degree requirements while also living deep in the heart of Ireland!

Location: Rome, Italy. The Centro is the premier program for undergraduates who are passionate about ancient Rome. Ideal for Classics majors, the program offers a core course on The Ancient City, which tackles Rome’s art, history, archaeology, topography, social make-up, and much more through visits to archaeological sites, museums, and standing remains. Students can also learn Ancient Greek, Italian, and/or Latin or take Renaissance and Baroque Art History or Conservation and Management of the Material Heritage of Ancient Rome.

Location: Nishinomiya, Japan. The Contemporary Japan Program at Kwansei Gakuin University (KGU) is designed for incoming semester-length exchange students. You can choose between two tracks - Japanese Language and Modern Japan - that include elective courses on Japanese language, culture, society, economy, and politics.

Location: Nishinomiya, Japan. Enroll in Kwansei Gakuin University's (KGU) special five-week summer school and take two classes in English on East Asian Studies. Options typically include courses on international relations, religions, politics, political economy, and business of contemporary Japan and East Asia.

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan. Enroll directly at KIMEP University, the oldest and the largest North American-style University in Central Asia, and take classes in English in accounting, finance, economics, management, marketing, international relations, journalism, public administration, cognitive science, foreign languages, and psychology. You can also register for Russian and/or Kazakh Language classes through the College of Humanities and Education or the Language Center.

Location: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Study, in English, at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) with peers from around the world. Particularly suited to students with particular interest in Anthropology, Central Asian Studies, Political Science, or Soviet Studies, this program also offers language courses in Kyrgyz or Russian.

Location: Beirut, Lebanon. American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. Students can take classes in a wide variety of disciplines in the arts and humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering. Particular strengths include: architecture, Middle East Studies, Islamic philosophy, food sciences, and STEM fields, including computer science.

Location: Mérida, Mexico. Enroll directly at the Autonomous University of the Yucatan (UADY) and take university classes in the social sciences in Spanish with local and international students.

Location: Ifrane, Morocco. Al Akhawayn University offers an internationally focused, English-language liberal arts curriculum, in the historic Ifrane, set in the Atlas Mountain region of Morocco. Fall semester participants begin with an Arabic language course taught in Fez, the third largest city in Morocco and an UNESCO World Heritage site, before heading to the Al Akhawayn University campus to take classes in a broad range of subjects, including Media Studies, North African and Middle Eastern Studies, Political Studies, Computer Science, Engineering, Psychology and Sociology. Exchange students are expected to continue their Arabic language studies in addition to the other courses selected.

Location: Tilburg, Netherlands. Tilburg University is located approximately 60 miles from Amsterdam in the city of Tilburg. Select from several courses taught in English across the curriculum. Tilburg is especially strong in the fields of economics, social sciences and humanities.

Location: Palmerston North, New Zealand. In New Zealand, a country where endless opportunities for outdoor adventure, arts, and culture await, Massey University offers a broad range of academic options. Located in the diverse city of Durban, near the Indian Ocean, the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN) is rated amongst the top 500 universities of the world and is the second most research-producing university in South Africa. Instruction is provided in English across the curriculum, with courses available in a broad range of subjects, including Zulu language, cultural studies, and media studies.

Location: Seoul, South Korea. Globally recognized for its leading role in exchange programs, Ewha Womans University offers an expansive range of classes in both English and Korean. Although Ewha is an all-female institution, the international program opens its doors to international students of all genders.

Location: Seoul, South Korea. Korea University is world-renowned for the quality of its academic programs offering intriguing topics such as Mass Media and Popular Culture in Korea​, World Cultures​, and Basic Hacking Practice. Location: León, Spain. The University of León, located in the historic city of León, is a medium-sized institution with strengths in biotechnology, natural resources, and environmental sciences, among others. Students with advanced Spanish language proficiency may enroll in regular university courses taught in Spanish with regular Spanish university peers. Students who are learning Spanish may enroll in an intensive Spanish language and culture program for the full semester.

Location: Murcia, Spain. The third oldest university in Spain, Universidad de Murcia offers modern facilities and a wide range of academic subjects in both English and Spanish including business, communications, physical sciences, social sciences, education, health sciences, Spanish literature and more. Get comfortable with Spanish during an included two-week intensive pre-semester language course. Nationally, Universidad de Murcia regularly tops national lists for excellent disability services, student support, and well-being.

Location: Seville, Spain. The Spanish Institute for Global Education (SIGE) offers international students the opportunity to attend a Spanish university for a semester, live in Spanish households, explore the region, and perfect their Spanish language skills. The EUSA Study Abroad Program includes over 30 different subject areas in Spanish and English, ranging from Media Studies, Business and Human Resources to Cultural Studies, Language or History.
