Degree Audit
An academic planning tool that enables students and advisors to track progress toward meeting academic program requirements and degree completion. Degree audit provides real-time degree counseling capabilities and up-to-date course completion information.
In addition to using the information available in a degree audit, students are encouraged to meet regularly with their academic advisor. An audit is not a substitute for required registration advising.
How to Use Degree Audit:
Monitor
- Progress towards graduation requirements
- GPA to ensure that you are at or above the 2.00 cumulative requirement for graduation.
- Holds
Review
- Credits completed (not counting in progress credits)
- Requirements completed
Plan
- which courses to take to complete remaining educational objectives
- calculate number of credits needed to meet minimum 32.0 credit requirement for graduation
Degree Audit provides an overview of Educational Objective requirements met, so that you quickly review your progress.
By selecting View All Details, you can review each section individually.
Status: State of completion for requirements.
Needed: the number of credit/ courses required to meet the requirement.
Earned: the number of credits/courses completed to meet the requirement.
Not Met: Incomplete requirement.
Met: Requirements completed.
Next, select the down carrot ᐯ to review the details of each Requirement.
In Progress: If the Status is In Progress, then you are currently registered for the course, but it will not count towards your degree audit until it has been graded.
Degree Audit will also display Holds that have been placed on your account but be sure to check the Registration page of your MyCampus2 portal to review the office information for the hold. And please be sure to clear any outstanding holds prior to pre-registration.
